FAQ
-
Are you going to provide advance notification to your sponsors and/or other organizations, in
addition to the affected vendors?
No, oCERT won't reveal any non-public information to whatever organization (including sponsors), except
to the specific people who are actually involved in oCERT operations (i.e. team members).
Details can be found in the membership page.
-
I am an individual working in the security field and I'm interested in oCERT, can I join?
Membership to oCERT is open to projects or organizations that develop and
publish Open Source code, it is not meant for individual researchers and/or supporters. If you want to help out
oCERT you are welcome to submit incidents or vulnerabilities reports if you'd like your research findings to be routed through us. Our mailing list is also a good way for keeping up to date with our project activity. Additionally we recommend joining the oss security mailing list.

How do you pronounce "oCERT"?
The consensus from the team is that the acronym is pronounced oh-surht, as if 'CERT' were short for certificate.
